I'll tell you right now that Freewebs, Bravenet, and any other free commerical hosts are not even worth trying. They
force ads on you, screw up your layout, don't have databases, give you little space, and commit to other obnoxious
behavior. And they don't support the Zelda series! To solve this hosting dilemma, we can host you!
Your website URL will have to be YOURSITE.zelda-portal.net but that's better then www.freewebs.com/YOURSITE, correct?
We will give you 250 MB of website space to start out. If you outgrow your space, then I will gladly give you more.
I also will give you 2 MySQL databases to use on your forums (although, it's up to you to set it up) or similar features.
Oh, and remember, this is free and you don't get any ads. Most imporantly, I will give you any help if you need it!
There are 2 catches however. Your site must be Zelda related and you have to use an FTP client. There isn't anything
I can do to help you with on the first one, but I do have some advice for the FTP. To use an FTP, you have to upload all the
files from your computer to the website. Basically what that means is that you have to overwrite the file you want
to change. It can get kind of annoying at times, but it isn't too bad; better than the other free hosts atleast.
The FTP I found to work the best is FileZilla. It's easy to set up, easy
to use, and they support chmoding (don't worry about it if you don't know). You can also download all the website files
to anywhere on your computer for backups. But before you do any of that, you have to fill out the form below if you are
interested in being hosted by Zelda Portal.
